[2023/03/24 17:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: You'll probably find pies in the bakery area. As for the recipie... well. Fires have been lit here and there, clearly... who knows.

[2023/03/24 17:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: The bakery has the usual ovens and preparation tables and shelves and bags of supplies, most broken, raided, ruined, or rotten. But a few high shelves? Do have cardboard boxes, tied with ribbon

[2023/03/24 17:40] Alicia Frakture: Leesha goes and Grabs them and check them. as she speaks over her shoulder. that's fair but I always thought Clerics were healers. I learned something new and you are kick ass, just need to find your stride.
[2023/03/24 17:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan just shakes her head and ducks down. "I'll just try not to bleed to death again." Meanwhile, you take the boxes and... half a dozen pies! They even look fresh, too.
[2023/03/24 17:43] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben sighs happily, trying to think about places they haven't finished checking. "Is there a cellar?"
[2023/03/24 17:44] Alicia Frakture: Leesha shows the pies to Debben."Look we got the pies what say we stay the night here, get some rest and heal up a bit. I'll get a stove to work and make some food."

[2023/03/24 17:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: Spell points and HP are recovered; Megan just looks badly wounded come morning
[2023/03/24 17:55] Alicia Frakture: Leesha starts packing up and pauses."Say, this place is abandoned right?"

[2023/03/24 17:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's faintly possible a relative might come to claim it. Or another band. It's a bit far from what counts as civilization, though.
[2023/03/24 17:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: It'll need a bit of a rebuild.
[2023/03/24 17:57] Alicia Frakture: Why not it's a fixer upper, could make a good base. but we can think about it on the way back. He'll just have to settle for pie, can't find the recipe

[2023/03/24 17:59] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben does one more sweep of the building to check for anything hidden that might be what they need, before heading outside with the other two.

[2023/03/24 18:01] Alicia Frakture: Leesha has the pies still in cardboard and has tied the stack together with the ribbon for easy carrying, before looking at Megan."You um you wanna come with us? I am not sure your plans from here."
[2023/03/24 18:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: "I'll come with you to the inn at Ravenloft. From there I can make my own way to the temple of my Order, thank you."
[2023/03/24 18:04] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "So, back to the inn." At least, after they say good bye to the trees and the elf/fae girl they met.
[2023/03/24 18:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: After your goodbyes, you head back to the inn. You arrive at the farmhouse, where you found the bodies hanging from the rafters; luckily everything is uneventful until....
[2023/03/24 18:05] Alicia Frakture: /me nods."Sounds good." As she heads for the door. Leesha stops at the tree by the door."thank you, we are gonna go so you can have the quiet you want."
[2023/03/24 18:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: ...sorry, were you expecting a cliffhanger? You arrive at the inn late in the afternoon, and you're still some distance away when two screaming kids run up to you. "Leesha! Debbin!"
[2023/03/24 18:07] Alicia Frakture: Um Yes that is us what's up? Leesha is confused at this moment
[2023/03/24 18:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: "I said you'd be back within the week!" says the eldest. He taps the youngest, and jumps back. "You're it!"
[2023/03/24 18:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Not fair! shouts the younger one. "Come back!"
[2023/03/24 18:09] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben blinks, trying to recognize who these kids are?

[2023/03/24 18:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Oh," she relaxes, now assured this isn't some weird time travel stuff. "At least we picked up enough coins to get a hot meal."
[2023/03/24 18:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Yeah!" says the elder excitedly. "Ma got her special apple stew on! Oh! And there's a guy, said he was a friend of yours, came asking questions."
[2023/03/24 18:12] Alicia Frakture: What did this guy look like?
[2023/03/24 18:13] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Did he give his name?"
[2023/03/24 18:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: The kids stop running around and look at each other. "Sort of mean, actually," said one. "Looks like just about any guy, but yeah, mean." "He didn't say... he just asked if we'd seen you, and described you." "We said you'd been, and would probably be back."
[2023/03/24 18:14] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Did he carry a weapon?"
[2023/03/24 18:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Well, yeah... everyone does?"

[2023/03/24 18:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: You become aware of a faraway "Hellloooooo....!"
[2023/03/24 18:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: "He was carrying his pack and wore robes and... that's him there!"
[2023/03/24 18:16] Alicia Frakture: If he is not in the inn we can keep an eye out. For now apple stew.. sounds good?" The Question comes out as she reacts to the hello
[2023/03/24 18:17] Sonja Bikergrrl: There is indeed a robed man hurrying along the path. "Leesha? Debben?"
[2023/03/24 18:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Is it the mage who was running the time travel spell? Surely it's not Ridcully.
[2023/03/24 18:17] Alicia Frakture: *Is this the guy who wanted the pies?*
[2023/03/24 18:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's not the guy you appeared with, you can tell that. And it's certainly not Ridcully, who must be twice this guys' age. Quite who he his... you've no idea. He comes closer. "Leesha? Debben? Is that you?" He looks from Leesha to Debben, and gives Megan a curious, puzzled look.

[2023/03/24 18:22] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debeen rackes her brain, leaning on her spear in a friendly sort of manner. "Pretty sure it's me. Last I checked."
[2023/03/24 18:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: He's quite close now. "Hey, c'mon, it's me! Leesha?" He looks to Debben. "Debben? You remember me, right?"
[2023/03/24 18:24] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I got in some rough scrapes with goblins recently and they managed to get some solid hits on my head," she offers as a cover story. "You'll have to catch me back up."
[2023/03/24 18:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Maybe we better go," the kids say, "We got chores..."
[2023/03/24 18:25] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods and looks to Debben and the guy and then Megan
[2023/03/24 18:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: The mans' eyes narrow. "So, it -is- you! I'm sorry about this, but that reward money is too good to pass up!" He throws his robe open and draws out his sword. Roll for initiative! (d12)
[2023/03/24 18:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guy goes first (he rolled 11! Beats your 10) and lunges at Leesha
[2023/03/24 18:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: His sword scrapes past Leeshas' armour harmlessly
[2023/03/24 18:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: (( To check, are we actually inside the inn right now? ))

[2023/03/24 18:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan swipes at him with a wild swing of her sword, and hits him hard, he stumbles aside, spitting blood and curses, before he crumbles in a growing pool of blood!
[2023/03/24 18:37] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is checking if he is dead
[2023/03/24 18:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Ready to give up?" Debben asks? *Why is this guy trying to run into a 1 on 3 fight?*
[2023/03/24 18:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Considering the big hack in his side and the blood pouring out... he's done for

[2023/03/24 18:39] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to grab the wanted poster and look at it, does it say what they are wanted for and the reward?
[2023/03/24 18:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: A search of the body does indeed reveal a scroll, with writing... you just can't make out what it says
[2023/03/24 18:40] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben makes her own attempt! Between Appraise and, if needed, Read Magic, it should be quite doable.
[2023/03/24 18:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Appraise is for gems, jewellry... you can cast read magic, however, the language isn't magical. It looks like it makes some sort of sense, but... it's not a language you know
[2023/03/24 18:42] Alicia Frakture: Megan, this language look familiar to you?
[2023/03/24 18:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: She looks at it, one way, then another, finally shakes her head. "No.... but it looks like something I heard about. It's a bounty, I think... written in some evil language. It says a hundred gold there. Did you annoy some faction or other?"
[2023/03/24 18:45] Alicia Frakture: /me shakes her head."It's possible but not that I know of. there is a whole thing behind that."
[2023/03/24 18:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Riiiight..." she says, looking at you both. "No offence... but maybe I should head on myself from here."
[2023/03/24 18:46] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Too bad we can't question that guy," she mentions. "Good luck out there, Megan. I guess we try to figure out who's issued a bounty on us."
[2023/03/24 18:46] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods."Might be for the best, be safe megan and all the best."
[2023/03/24 18:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: She looks at him. "Sorry... he was trying to kill you, though. Good luck with that, and safe travels."
[2023/03/24 18:50] Alicia Frakture: Once Megan has walked off leesha sighs."I'm carrying him to town so i can turn him in for attacking us.. Hide the scroll"
[2023/03/24 18:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: Nearest town is a days' walk away
[2023/03/24 18:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: and it's already getting late
[2023/03/24 18:51] Alicia Frakture: Screw it leave him and go to the inn I want that food the mom is cooking.

[2023/03/24 18:52] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I also don't know what the humans think proper burial rites are. Something about salt?"
[2023/03/24 18:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: You enter the inn and conversation quietens as everyone looks at you. There's a pause then... people go back to talking to each other. The innkeeper appears behind the bar. "Good to see you again, friends!" From the kitchen comes the ironic smell of stewing apples.
[2023/03/24 18:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: And at that moment, there's a cliffhanger, an awesom GM would have one, possibly involving apples, but, you got me, instead :P
[2023/03/24 18:53] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Food is food, is it not? And a hot meal is just what they've been looking for.
[2023/03/24 18:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: sorry... it's 2am :)
